KK8 Baccarat.
Two hands. One clear set of rules.
Understand Player, Banker and Tie, how a baccarat hand is counted, and why table variants need their own rule check. Start with the game before comparing any studio.
Read the guideIllustration: 7 + 6 = 13. Use the final digit, so the hand value is 3. This is a scoring example, not a prediction.
- Player
- The name of one hand, not the person at the screen.
- Banker
- The other hand; commission and variant rules need checking.
- Natural
- An initial two-card total of eight or nine.
How the hand is counted.
In standard baccarat, aces count as one, numbered cards use their face value, and tens and face cards count as zero. Only the final digit of the total is used. A seven and a six therefore make a hand value of three. The hand nearest nine wins, subject to the drawing rules.
Drawing is governed by the rules.
The Player and Banker hands are labels for the two sides of the game. Additional cards are dealt according to the table’s drawing rules; the viewer does not choose to hit or stand as in blackjack. A recorded sequence of earlier results describes earlier rounds and does not establish the next hand.
Read the exact table variant.
Commission baccarat, no-commission variants and branded feature tables should not be treated as identical. Check the payout explanation, treatment of a Banker win, Tie rules and any side-bet conditions. The main hand and a separate side bet are different propositions even when they are displayed on the same screen.
For practical questions, read the terms guide or contact guide. Provider brands are listed separately in the provider directory.
Questions, answered.
Is Banker the dealer’s personal hand?
Banker is a game label. It does not mean the dealer is making a personal wager or choosing how to draw cards. Follow the rules of the displayed variant.
Does this baccarat guide show live availability?
This is an editorial guide to baccarat. It does not show a live catalogue, table list or fixture feed. Check the current official lobby for availability and the selected version’s rules.
